Games

Here I'll talk about all the games I've played that stood out in some way or another. Starting with the SNES, because that was a long time ago and I barely remember it.

SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System)

One of the most outstanding systems ever created, as far as games go. It has loads of classic games, but I don't have the time at the moment to deal with all of them, so I'll stick to my personal favourites.

Sega Genesis

Not a big part of my life- I didn't have one growing up. No genesis games seem to have weathered the test of time, but the Sonic the Hedgehog series deserves mention.

Nintendo 64

Quite the system. It did a lot to bring 3d games home. While it wasn't as popular as the Playstation, it had far better games on average.

Sony Playstation

Now, I wasn't a big fan of the Playstation when it came out. Sony apparently didn't have nearly as strict standards as Nintendo did, and a huge part of the games that came out were absolute crap. However, it did have several redeeming games, which I'll touch on presently.

Sony Playstation2 (PS2)

A quick follow-up to the Playstation's success, the PS2 did indeed have some good games. While I'm not a big fan of it, you can't argue with Squaresoft. They'll put their games on PS2, you'll play them there.

Nintendo Gamecube

Ack! Nintendo, what the hell? Now I know the N64 didn't do as well as it should of, but this isn't helping! While it has some good games, this console is mostly a joke.

Microsoft Xbox

Now, I didn't have high hopes for the Xbox when I heard about it. I mean, Sony getting into the industry with the Playstation was one thing, but Microsoft? I'm happy to say I was pleasantly surprised by the Xbox. It's my favourite console, and beastly to boot.

PC (Personal Computer, idiot!)

The gaming system most likely to have a long shelf life. From Oregon Trail to Half-Life 2, there are some great, and some horrible games.

If you have any questions about a particular game, feel free to email me. If I know or can find the answer, I'll put it up in the Games FAQ.
